Civilization Revolution Contest: Join the Revolution

World domination does not happen in a vacuum, and true Civilization fans know no bounds when they show their support.

For our first Civilization contest, I’m asking you to go out and show your support of Civilization Revolution to the world. Photograph yourself (or photoshop, if you are crafty enough) in a public setting promoting your favorite civilization or leader. Think about how you would draw people in to your cause, and get them fired up about joining your side. Or, on the other hand, how you would bargain with others to get what you want.

If you’re wondering exactly what we’re looking for, check out 2K Game Analyst Patches and his take on the contest.I don’t expect you to follow his method exactly, but I hope it gives you some starting ideas. The only real ground rule is that the picture has to be a real-life setting. Although you can augment and photoshop to your heart’s content, I want this to be a photograph, and not a drawing or any other created piece of art.

We’ll be accepting submissions for the next week. To send in your submission, please email jointherevolution@2kgames.com with the subject line “Join the Revolution Contest Submission”. All submissions will be displayed on the website at the end of the contest, and then we’ll let you, the fans, vote for the 3 images you think are most creative. The top three will receive a Civilization Revolution faceplate, a limited edition tee shirt, and will be displayed on the front page of the site when the winners are announced.
